that's true, i so far am not a huge fan of playing as Cage at the moment, thank god i didn't have any handycaps with him. Also, i agree with you about it being a bit annoying only getting to see the good guys side, as i'd love to get a better insight into Reptile for example On 1/5/12, Clement Chou <chou.clement@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:Yeah, MK's story mode is really good... a first fror a fighting game, andmost others should follow it. Personally though, I don't like the fact that the game forces you to play certain characters... it would've been nicer to have you choose the characters you wanted to play before a given fight. And it would've been nicer to give you something other than the story from allthe good guys' point of view. lol. ----- Original Message ----- From: "dan cook" <dan.scook@xxxxxxxxx> To: <brandonslist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, January 04, 2012 4:38 PM Subject: [brandon's list] Re: Fixing audio delay when using HDMItrue, i started in easy for a little while, mainly through arcade as i got it completely wrong first time round and set it to max... i think you can guess how that turned out. i'm mostly playing on normal dificulty now. I just like how the story mode actually makes you want to play as some of the chars who you might not have considered before. For instance i never really liked Leu Kang, but i find him pretty fun to play as here. currently spamming fireballs, uppercuts and bicycle kicks against gorro as my previous stratigies haven't yet worked. I haven't tried turning up difficulty here though... ----- Original Message ----- From: "dan cook" <dan.scook@xxxxxxxxx> To: <brandonslist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, January 04, 2012 4:24 PM Subject: [brandon's list] Re: Fixing audio delay when using HDMIMk is brilliant. I love how much more challenging it is even in easy mode compared to armageddon and so on. I've currently learned that I absolutely hate handycap matches and that gorro is crazy. I've beaten him in one round though, only need one more... :D On 1/4/12, Clement Chou <chou.clement@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:MK I can help you with. FF... I haven't gotten a chance to play, sad tosay. ----- Original Message ----- From: "dan cook" <dan.scook@xxxxxxxxx> To: <brandonslist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, January 04, 2012 3:58 PM Subject: [brandon's list] Re: Fixing audio delay when using HDMIlol I just thought of that as soon as that message was sent... well I got it about a week ago with MK9 and ff13, loving it so far. However there'll be a fair few questions on the latter game coming upin the near future. :D On 1/4/12, Clement Chou <chou.clement@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:If you're planning to pick up fighting games, I would I would say it'll definitely have an affect on your timing for button inputs... so definitely do that if you can. lol ----- Original Message ----- From: "dan cook" <dan.scook@xxxxxxxxx> To: <brandonslist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, January 04, 2012 3:18 PM Subject: [brandon's list] Re: Fixing audio delay when using HDMIHi, thanks for this, I've just set up my ps3 with hdmi so I'll definitely give this a go if the audio delay has a major impact on my game playing. However, it only worksif you're using a ps3, and either have an alternative audio devicelike a gaming headset or speakers for your TV. Leave the HDMI cable connected to your ps3, and also connect the AV cables that came with your ps3. In yourps3s audio settings, look for something like (Multi Audio Output),andactivate that. Then, plug your audio device into the AV cables andjust leave the video connecter on the AV cables alone. Note, the audio will play through both the AV cable, and the HDMI cable, the audio from the AV cable will not have a delay. Hope this helps. Also, how do I unsubscribe from the list? Sent from my iPad
