Dear Susan, Patti, Cindy and those of you who have sent me messages of
consolation off list,
According to my unsure nature, I haven't confided my misery throughout my
e mail list world. Because I know pet readers and pet lovers are here and
I've seen your compassion for one another, I dared to share the heartbreak
that's happening beyond my on topic posts. Thank you to all of you who have
given me a safe place to tell you what's really going on with me.
For Patti and Sue and anyone who is still feeling the pain that comes when
you know you'll never be able to hold your pet again, I know you are still
hurting, too, and it will be hard for you after this thread has run out. We
have to trust to love, faith, time and the nature of life itself, that we'll
some day be able to love them without so much pain.
I am grateful for all of your expressions of kind understanding. Each is
like a breath of fresh air or a flower. I am saving all of them in a file I
call, "Good Letters." Together they are a beautiful bouquet. Together, they
give me comfort until I'm able to believe deep down that my life can go on.
Always with love,
Lissi
Hello Lissi. Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your dog. There are no words to say, at a time like this. I know how a sudden loss like that can really hurt. I will keep you in my prayers. Susan
