Hi Allison. I'm not into "chick" books. That term seems rather sixtiesh. (grin) That's when I was in college. I can though reccomend one book that might fit your bill. It's called "the girl with the pearl earring". I have not read it, but a co-worker (female) says it was really very good. About the female inspiration for some artists paintings. She says it paints a very good picture of Holland as well. Sounds like a bit of a romance. Ah! summer vacation!! Enjoy! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Allison Hilliker" <amhillik@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <bookshare-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, April 14, 2004 11:56 AM Subject: [bookshare-discuss] Fave Books? > Okay, someone on here mentioned that this list was too quiet lately, so I > thought I'd bring out a topic that may get everyone interested. > > I'm nearing the end of the semester, and so may soon have some time to read > some books for enjoyment, not just those required for class.
