Chela:Were you running as an administrator when attempting to update? I can't imagine why you still have 2.3.0.0. I would try it again.By the way, 2.4.1.0 has been released, and is the corrected version that everyone who wishes to upgrade should be running.Robcdrobles693@xxxxxxxxx 04/30/08 03:06PM >>>Hey, Pamela, I'm Chela Robles, and own a BP, however, when I tried to update automatically from version 2.3.0.0 to version 2.4.1.0, it told me to restart my PC in order for it to take effect, the changes and everything, well, I restarted like it told me to, and I still have version 2.3.0.0, so what's going on here, any solutions to my current dilemma? Don't you need to go through the transfer software to make it compatible? Will thatwork with audible.com? Could it work with that bothersome overdrive? Load the book on to one of the devices it recognizes, like the ds50; Transfer itdirectly to a card using a USB hub and put the card in the bp? Sounds too easy. ----- Original Message ----- From: Sandy Licht <slicht@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Date: 2008/04/30 05:28:08 Subject: [bookport] Re: new transfer beta weird problem > > > What sort of book are you trying to transfer.?
