Hi David and list:

As others have said, there's nothing wrong with adding functionality, if
that is all it amounted to. But remember the price factor. If anyone wants
to drop a Braillenote mPower or a PACMate in my lap, I'd be happy to take
it. They aren't likely to give it to me for the price of a book port unless
they've acquired it on the black market and have no clue of what it is or
what it does.

I don't believe you were on list a few months ago when we had an extensive
discussion about the relative merrits of various synthesisers. Many agreed
that Eloquence was very good. I commented that I wouldn't mind Eloquence,
but wouldn't be willing to pay more than around $50 to see it added. Larry
assured us if it could happen, it definitely would never happen at such a
cheap price. If he's wrong about that, feel free to add all you want.

Cheers,
Dave
