Which is what it was designed for in the first place. Of course, we now
require and demand full stereo with a frequency range of from 20 to 30,000
cycles and the ability to connect a full array of professional microphones.
A built-in musical synthesizer would be nice, too, as would a drum machine
and accessible recording meters.

Hi Kevin and list:

The recording quality on the book port is definitely no high fidelity
recording. It is good for memoes and perhaps other sounds that aren't
requiring clarity.

Cheers,
Dave
