I am starting to have difficulty with a folder that has 23 files in it, for some reason. This is the 2GB card I had trouble formatting. I've installed the newest update, so I hope my problem will be resolved. Haven't had time to check today.

I never had problems with too many files in a folder, (within reason), until I started using a 4GB card. My 2GB card could handle folders with up to 100 files with relative ease. Now I take Sandy's suggestion of only keeping 20 or 25 files in a folder.

I'm not sure if the size of the individual files makes a difference, but I've had 74 files in my books folder from bookshare on my 64 meg that came with the bookport originally. no problems whatsoever.Original Message ----- From: "Sandy Licht" <slicht@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, August 15, 2006 3:12 AM Subject: [bookport] Re: beta firmware and my 4 gig problem

Jeremiah 29:11 - 14A
11For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They
are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. 12In those days when you pray, I will listen. 13If you look for me in earnest,
you will find me when you seek me. 14I will be found by you," says the LORD...
