I think you need to be more patient. Something like a bible can have
thousands of navigation points, and it takes time to map all those. If
something goes wrong, the software will let you know.

Hi Everyone,
I have been working on sending some digital talking books from Book
Share to the BP. When I send something small, like a periodical, the
file gets sent almost instantly. When I try to send something large,
like a Bible or large text book, the transfer software says "getting
file information" and just sits there. After two or three minutes, I
give up and cancel the process. Because the digital talking books from
Book Share only contain text, I wouldn't think that it would take that
long to filter the file, even if the file is large. Is something wrong
or am I just not being patient enough? By the way, when the transfer
software says "getting file information", the sounds that are made don't
sound like the normal progression of tones that are usually made during
a file transfer. There is just a single tone over and over. It sounds
kind of like a slow heart monitor. Any help that anyone could give
would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Scott
