Scott, what is the file format of the file you are trying to send? Are they txt files, or some other format? I have found that if I convert files to txt before sending them, the book port takes much much less time to transfer them because it isn't having to convert from Word or some other formatted file. I'm not saying your files are in Word, that was just an example, but if they are txt files, they should go very quickly. I don't know if there is a file limit, but I have transferred some rather large files with no problem. Also, what size card to you have in your book port. It's possible there is not enough room for the file. I don't know what message one gets when copying a file that will not fit, and perhaps others can help with this, but that is a possible problem. I might be able to help you, but I'm not =3D entirely sure what all you are doing. When I send something small, like a periodical, the =3D file gets sent almost instantly. When I try to send something large, =3D like a Bible or large text book, the transfer software says "getting =3D file information" and just sits there. After two or three minutes, I =3D give up and cancel the process. Because the digital talking books from =3D Book Share only contain text, I wouldn't think that it would take that =3D long to filter the file, even if the file is large. Is something wrong =3D or am I just not being patient enough? By the way, when the transfer =3D software says "getting file information", the sounds that are made don't =3D sound like the normal progression of tones that are usually made during =3D a file transfer. There is just a single tone over and over. It sounds =3D kind of like a slow heart monitor. Any help that anyone could give =3D would be appreciated. Thanks, Scott
