The synthetic voice sounding fuzzy is not an indication of battery =
weekness, believe it or not! It is a thing that sometimes happens after =
stopping MP3 playback. If this bothers you, simply wait for 10 seconds for =
the unit to shut down, or hit 2 twice to start playing and immediatly stop =
the MP3 file. This will usually clear it up.

We have known about this problem since the beginning of time; we just =
don't currently have a solution.

Hi Angie,
I love my Book Port too. I have had the same trouble with the battery as
you have. This morning the synthetic voice, "big Bob" got real fuzzy. i
immediately leaped out of bed and ran to my computer room to put in new
batteries. just for fun, I tried Big Bob again with the old batteries and
lo and behold he sounded great. Go figure.

might then have 50%, 60%, or more left. Has anyone else experienced this?
