Pamela--
        This is the same problem I described to you on the phone. Is
there a problem with the upgrade we should know about? Can you instruct
us on how to fix this ourselves? If not, will APH charge for repairing
the problem?

Subject: [bookport] BP unresponsive after firmware upgrade

Hi Rob,=20

I will try your advice first thing when I get home after work, although
I=20
think I tried it already this morning. I'll also do a chkdsk on the Card

using an external card reader, to see if there are any problems there.=20

In your opinion, what could have caused such a dramatic failure of the
Book=20
Port? I've downloaded and installed firmware several times in the past,
and=20
that has always gone pretty smoothly. Plus, the card is a brand-new 2GB=20
Sandisk that people on this list have highly recommended. On the other
hand,=20
2 Kingston 1GB cards have previously become corrupted in my Book Port. I

thought the cards were to blame, but now I'm thinking the Book Port
itself=20
might be having problems, as Larry suggested once.=20
