I'm not sure who you are talking to but the status of the BP2 has nothing at
all to do with the Victor Stream.

APH has been telling the truth on this list, which is where you can get
reliable information, that the BP2 ran into a serious problem with the proposed
hardware that requires major re-engineering. This was an unfortunate and and
unpredictable problem. It is likely that APH will come out with a new device
but since we have to step back anyway we are considering some additional
options that weren't available when we thought we were tied to the hardware
that failed us.

Having said that, the Stream is a good reader and for those of you who want a
relatively inexpensive NLS-compatible player now I would personally recommend
it.

Keith

I Just spoke with a guy on the phone today that spoke with a guy at APH in
customer relations that stated the BP 2 was shelved permanently and perhaps
in a year or more they might come out with a new device. He stated that the
Victor stream pretty much beat APH to the street and they couldn't catch up
with it.

So there you go BP 2 fans. I guess it's time to go get a stream. That's my
plan here.

I'm sad that APH couldn't get the BP 2 out and more sad they tried to keep
it under wraps even when they knew it would never see the light of day.

Rick
