Larry, It is not a problem here. I noticed that you said that you were thinking of requiring administrative privileges to perform firmware updates. A firmware update would, of course, affect only the Book Port itself and not the computer. Also, In order to perform a firmware update, you have to have physical possession of the Book Port, which would probably mean that you are the owner. Given this, I don't understand the point of requiring administrative privileges. I am not saying that there is no point, I am just saying that I don't know what it would be.
