I've had a lot of media coverage including national media...The "daily Beast"
etc.

But, these are good ideas my colleague.

I'm currently awaiting some findings by the ACLU on Monday and the disposition
of my circuit court pre-trial on Wednesday.

Right now I'm going to celebrate my 63 birthday coming tomorrow.

I'm getting too old for this shit....Smile....

That said I do appreciate your efforts here Abdullah and others.

Right now I cannot reveal as much as I'd like to reveal though. But the
outright corruption goes very deep here....No surprise.....

And it goes to a variety of state actors in Michigan, right up to the
Governor's office.

BTW my attorney, or one of them is of Lebanese origin, albeit a Christian.

And as a digression most silly Americans don't realize that Arabs and those of
Arabic disperia are not all Muslims.

Conversely many don't even understand that Europeans like you have been for
generations Muslim

And fools like the Trump crew don't know the difference for they are buried in
their silly heads which are firmly up their collective asses.

As all here know I'm personally a "devout" agnostic.

Yet, I acknoledge and am personal friends with people of all faiths and those
without faith too.

I count among my friends and people those of all denominations and, again those
without any.

Well maybe not all I guess, for all have subsets and I'm not particularly close
to say anyone who is Hindu.

But I have travelled and have numerous friends who are "people of the book" And
that includes all who come from the tree of Abrahem or Ibrahem.
That includes all who define themselves as Jews, Christians or Muslims.

Now, I grew up Catholic. That happens to be my personal experience.

Now what I take from that often sordid history is the value of the individual
and of all in humanity.

That said I also recognise the evils done by that Church over centuries in the
name of God and religion.

And to a fundamental point you've made often and rightfully Abdullah I feeel no
need to apologise for the autrocaties of the Catholic Church, as I didn't do
these things.

But, I do condemn things like the inquisition and other autrocities.

I decry all atrocities against humanity, whether it be the genocide against
Jews, or Christians or Muslims.

And that goes to subsets of same and to other religions as well.

Thanks sir.

I was "offerred" by the persecution more than a month ago a "disorderly
conduct" charge and a $125 fine. I refused it and my lawyer has a retainer of
$5,000 to fight this obsenity.
I go to court again on the 16th but the prosecution still has not even
remitted transcripts and it might be postponed once again.

Fortunately this judge does understand the First Amendment and I've
researched copious case law.

BTW the ACLU is slow but working on the cases of other protesters because of
all I've put foward.

Anyway I appreciate your comments here Abdullah and I am reminded that once
upon a time the Voc. Rehab. system wanted you to work in a shelterred work shop
too.

Talk about modern day slavery and exploitation!

And what did they call it? "Extended evaluation"....

Hello Alice and All,

I've been sick and I've been up against the wall, quite literally in
fighting my case against the state apparatchik here in Michigan vis a vis my
unlawful arrest and persecution, not lawful "prosecution" as the state
suggests. for trying to enter, let alone protest against disability act
violations by the state on our state capitol lawn supposedly celebrating the
very civil rights the state was in violation with literal police barriers
against the seminal civil rights law establishing our civil rightslaw to begin
with here. So I'm a little cynical about all of this, which I must admit up
front as it doesn't make me objective. I cannot be so for much personal capital
and time and effort has been forfeighted in my simple defense.

I've fought for many without remedy over the years. I've fought for
numerous civil rights issues. Sorry I'm getting scattered here and sorry I'm so
emotional because after all it isn't about me though now I face a two year
potential jail sentence.

That is in spite of the documented body cam evidence that shows that I
didn't even accidentally touch let alone intentionally assault a police
officer. Everyone can see this fact but me.

By the way there are multiple angles and multiple cameras and none of them
show a single assault upon anyone except me which was at the hands of the
police themselves.

Yet, why were police in full body armor poised against the twenty or so of
us who opposed again with only leaflets and chants the State of Michigan's
"celebration" of our civil rights day? That is the important question. For it
goes to the utter corruption including kick backs and outright bribery of
federal contractors like those we were exposing and to the facts, the
documented facts that rights were continually violated.

I'm not paranoid. There is a plot.

The exploitations, including state actors like the Lt. governor himself and
the Community Rehab Orgs, like the corru[pted Peckham were involved and
documented to be so involved.

Make no mistake that there is a DOD angle here too!

For Peckham is involved as are many of these CROs with exploitative labor
practices in the defense contracting interests.

I have much more on this angle.

But most of it they don't even bother to hide .... They do this insider
shit right out in the open...
And in full circle this stuff is all about the military industrial complex
even the likes of IKE was against but which is our plague to this day.

We are just contracts to this complex! Contracts!

They don't give a rat's ass about national security, or this or that. They
don't give a rip about ICIL. Theydon't care.

They care about the money.

Only the money they make. Only the money, honey.

They care not about anything else. Nothing. Not the love between a man and
a woman or visa bersa. Not the belief in a higher power, or eeven an arcane
religion. Not the love of a country. Nothing. Nada. Nada. Nothing, but their
pure short term interested sand most selfish self interests.

They talk of thieves and they are the worst of thieves. They talk of liars
and they are the worst of liars. They act as if Robin Hoods to some, but steal
only from the poor giving only to the righc thus depriving us of even a
paradigm, let alone justice.

They, by the way are the less than one percent in case you haven't guess by
now.

And "they" are the killers of this very planet if we don't fight them and
if we allow them to be so.

I'm tired, old and scared, but I'm not stupid and delusional. These cretins
are a plague upon the surface of this planet and must be politically
neutralized if we are to be at peace; and given the role of them in our
planetary crisis vis a vis climate change, they must be taken out of power for
us to even survive as a species. Thus this is not nationalistic
extisententailisistic issues alone. It is global in nature.

Our fundamental existence is at stake here! Dig that?

Dear Non-Muslim Allies,

I am writing to you because it has gotten just that bad. I have found
myself telling too many people about the advice given to me years ago by the
late composer Herbert Brun, a German Jew who fled Germany at the age of 15: “be
sure that your passport is in order.” It’s not enough to laugh at Donald Trump
anymore. The rhetoric about Muslims has gotten so nasty, and is everywhere, on
every channel, every newsfeed. It is clearly fueling daily events of targeted
violence, vandalism, vigilante harassment, discrimination. I want you to know
that it has gotten bad enough that my family and I talk about what to keep on
hand if we need to leave quickly, and where we should go, maybe if the election
goes the wrong way, or if folks get stirred up enough to be dangerous before
the election. When things seem less scary, we talk about a five or a ten year
plan to go somewhere where cops don’t carry guns and hate speech isn’t allowed
on network television. And if you don’t already know this about me, I want you
to know that I was born in this country. I have lived my whole life in this
country. I have spent my entire adult life working to help the poor, the
disabled and the dispossessed access the legal system in this country. And I
want you to know that I am devoutly and proudly Muslim.

I am writing this in response to a non Muslim friend’s question about
what she can do. Because there is much that can be done in solidarity:

If you see a Muslim or someone who might be identified as Muslim being
harassed, stop, say something, intervene, call for help.

If you ride public transportation, sit next to the hijabi woman and say
asalam ‘alaykum (That means ‘peace to you.’). Don’t worry about mispronouncing
it; she won’t care. Just say "peace" if you like. She’ll smile; smile back. If
you feel like it, start a conversation. If you don’t, sit there and make sure
no one harasses her.

If you have a Muslim work colleague, check in. Tell them that the news is
horrifying and you want them to know you’re there for them.

If you have neighbors who are Muslim, keep an eye out for them. If you’re
walking your kids home from the bus stop, invite their kids to walk with you.

Talk to your kids. They're picking up on the anti-Muslim message. Make
sure they know how you feel and talk to them about what they can do when they
see bullying or hear hate speech at school.

Call out hate speech when you hear it—if it incites hatred or violence
against a specified group, call it out: in your living room, at work, with
friends, in public. It is most important that you do this among folks who may
not know a Muslim.

Set up a “learn about Islam” forum at your book club, school,
congregation, dinner club. Call your state CAIR organization, interfaith group
or local mosque and see if there is someone who has speaking experience and
could come and answer questions about Islam and American Muslims for your
group. They won’t be offended. They will want the opportunity to do something
to dispel the nastiness.

Write Op Eds and articles saying how deplorable the anti-Muslim rhetoric
has gotten and voice your support for Muslim Americans in whatever way you can.

Call your state and local representatives, let them know that you are
concerned about hate speech against your Muslim friends and neighbors in
politics and the media, that it is unacceptable and you want them to call it
out whenever they hear it, on your behalf.

Out yourself as someone who won’t stand for Islamophobia, or will stand
with Muslims—there is an awful lot of hate filling the airways, and there are
an awful lot of people with access to the media and/or authority stirring the
pot about Muslims. Please help fill that space with support instead. Post,
write, use your profile picture or blog to voice your support.

Ask me anything. Really. Engage the Muslims in your life. Make sure you
really feel comfortable standing for and with your Muslim friends, neighbors,
coworkers.

I can tell you that in addition to the very real threat to their civil
and human rights that Muslims are facing, we are dealing with a tremendous
amount of anxiety. While we, many of us, rely on our faith to stay strong, we
are human. This is not an easy time. What you do will mean everything to the
Muslim Americans around you. Thank you for reading and bless you in your
efforts. Share freely.
