I too have been witness to the medical benefits of marijuana. I used to have
a friend who was a technician for some very specialized medical equipment.
They used to send him all over the world to fix this equipment.
He developed some sort of nerve problem in his neck that was very painful.
Doctors tried all sorts of medications on him which didn't help much and
some of which had debilitating side effects. He later found that a few hits
of grass before bed each night decreased his pain symptoms to the point
where he was abel to resume his world travels as part of his job. Before
trying grass, the long flights he took exacerbated his condition. OF course,
he can't smoke grass when on the road for obvious reasons. You'd be a fool
to try taking grass on an airplane. HE said the only negative side effect of
the grass was the munchies and he did gain a bit of weight as a result.
