I ended up having to rescan a book when I could not open it but if there is a way, Nick Dotson of Kurzweil will know it. He is <ndotson@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> . He saved one book for me but if the problem is Windows and not Kurzweil you may have to rescan. Try Nick first.
