Hi E,
I'm really sorry to hear about all your misfortunes. I didn't know dogs
could get Lyme--my mom had it a couple of years ago and was treated with
massive antibiotic IV's every day for a month. It was quite an ordeal, but
the progression of the disease was halted. And I'm also sorry about your
financial loss. I'm in the middle of a financial debacle myself at the
moment. It's very tragic to see an elderly friend lose the ability to care
for him/her self. I have 3 living grandparents and several close friends who
are older, and I dread this happening to any of them.
I had a really bad day yesterday too, though not nearly as bad as yours. If
I were you, I'd definitely break out the ice cream.
I hope tomorrow is better.
