I missed the lighter approach. Autocratic. You were just putting out info
which would confuse new members.
You did not take a lighter approach. You got nasty. I have tried as well
as I can to say I am hurt and that you made a difficult day worse for me
yesterday. Perhaps you call that "taking a lighter approach". I have
never been so upset by messages from a bookshare participant. Perhaps you
want to re-consider whether making fun of somebody who does not understand
that your idea of humor is what it is is truly taking a lighter
approach. I realize you did not actually mean to be hurtful and nasty but
only because I have been on a list with you for years. I am even more
amazed at your messages so far this morning than I was by those you left
yesterday.

I lost my first dog to a brain tumor when he was only 7. My second dog preferred my wife over me, so when we separated, I got the cat, and she got the dog.

Now, I hope we can put this subject to rest. I will not apologize for who I am, but you do have my sympathy.

I also failed to mention that the state unemployment folks got in touch with me. I had sent in a form late because I had to get someone to fill it out for me (the form was inaccessible). He said not to worry that I had only lost out on "just a couple of weeks and it is only 405 dollars a week anyway" of pay. He laughed. I thought of you Ernie. Passed this on thinking you might enjoy my appearing foolish and losing out since your humor seems to run in that vein.
My guide dog is not symptomatic with lime symptoms and the disease can be controlled if he takes antibiotics every two years for the rest of his life. (he is now three) Symptoms include going lame. Just sharing since the people who find humor on this list seem to come in varieties I did not know about until today.
