I also failed to mention that the state unemployment folks got in touch
with me. I had sent in a form late because I had to get someone to fill it
out for me (the form was inaccessible). He said not to worry that I had
only lost out on "just a couple of weeks and it is only 405 dollars a week
anyway" of pay. He laughed. I thought of you Ernie. Passed this on
thinking you might enjoy my appearing foolish and losing out since your
humor seems to run in that vein.
My guide dog is not symptomatic with lime symptoms and the disease can be
controlled if he takes antibiotics every two years for the rest of his
life. (he is now three) Symptoms include going lame. Just sharing since
the people who find humor on this list seem to come in varieties I did not
know about until today.
