Hi, Marily,

That sounds awful. I think, unless you were able to verify that it has
no page numbers, I would have been tempted to reject it, but I can't
say that for sure. Did you check out margins and size of font? I guess
that you would know by looking at it about the size of font. Without
page numbers, it would be hard to use as a reference book, though you
could if you had a reader who could help you with it. That's what I
dislike about NLS books. The recordings are good; there are no page
numbers in them though.

I am sure sorry you have been put to such an acid test with that book.

Hugs,
Cindy Lou

Cindy Lou and Mayrie,

I validated it, every single page. Now, what it is is two books,
actually. I think the second book is what you get if you go to
their website, but that's just a guess.

Also, when I put it into RTF format, it curled up like a scared
puppy into 259 pages, which is also not possible because I spent
a week's worth of time, full days, validating at least 2,000 pages.
In .DOC format, it blew my computer's head off and stopped
counting pages at 1,376, Line 999, but I still continued on for three
more
days plus some.

Cindy Lou, no, it doesn't have any page numbers. I'm very sorry. It
didn't have ANY at all, so I couldn't even venture a guess or two.
I'm going to clean it up just a little this morning, taking big chunks
of
bold and making them unbold (references mostly), and then I'm
uploading this monster.

BTW, it's a huge amount of information on every possible
psychiatric disorder. It's not too technical, really, and it has
sample cases with sample treatments, etc. It's a good reference book.

Mayrie, thanks for your help when I needed it.

Hugs,
Marilyn
