Hi Sandy, Thanks. That's what I decided to do--put the name at the first instance and initials thereafter. The only way the bold or italicized text really works for speech users is to have your screen reader change pitch, but you can only do that (as far as I know) for all font changes not individual ones. And I'm not even sure you can do it with the daisy readers. Anyway, I think we have a good solution. Another thing that is sometimes done is Q. and A. at the beginning of appropriate lines. I guess what I like about the initials is that it reminds one who is speaking. That's usually done by writing the last name out the first time each person speaks, then using initials after that. Just a couple of other suggestions.
