This is Larry. The optacon was the only way to have independent access to
print for many years and it was an amazing and highly wished-for device for
many of us. I wanted one so badly I could taste it for many years and got a
foundation grant in 1982 to receive one. I thought I had been granted the
keys to heaven, smile.

Hi Lori,

Larry could not have completed many tasks in his former programming job
without having an Optacon. If we can not get chapter numbers when he has
scanned a book, sometimes he is able to retrieve them with the Optacon. He
is better at it than I am but neither of us are sorry we've had training
with this device! I know Optacon users understand all this!

Susan
