It is for both. You have choices to set for .txt and more choices for .rtf. In absolutely all cases please tell Kurzweil not under any circumstances to split long pages. Make sure you cover all options or you wind up with extra page breaks when saving documents.
I do hope Kurzweil turns off this feature by default in version 12. Please write again and folks will walk you through this if you are at all confused.
