I'll be taking a small break to see how these truly come out that are there. and plus gonna rest and refresh my hands in that time will be excepting advice from one that I know of, and will take advice from more, I'm gonna get good at this here thang LOL if it kills me *smile*. The greatest joy is seeing somebody actually enjoy the plot of a book and say now that was good. I enjoy reading so many and have gotten to borrow or been given so many, and it's just my way of sharing thus book share. The giving, that part of it I love.

Hi all,

Gwen, stop! Quit apologizing! We all know the person who sent you that letter made a mistake and was less than complimentary. Her ill-advised missive and the grief it caused only hurts her, not you. Tough Love is a good thing but there's a difference between Tough Love and out-and-out belittling.

If we want to read and proof your scans, then let us do so, eh? If we think they're in need of improvement we'll tell you. <grrrr> I don't know who it was that coined that stupid phrase about "words can never hurt me.", but they were wrong. Words can build up or tear down. They can give life and hope, or they can deal death and despair. Shoot, if a word can create light then what makes us think that our own words have no power? Why do you all think I'm so ready to apologize when my words cause damage? It's because I know that I've used them to harm and not to heal. I own my words, therefore, I'm responsible for them. If I cause damage with them, then it is up to me, and only me, to repair that damage.

Ann P.
