Yes, but those that are listed at the end of the book and at the end of a chapter are not footnotes. According to the three definitions I have read so far, footnotes are only at the bottoms of pages.

True. Not just in seminary books. smile And sometimes
the notes themselves are listed at the end of the book
by chapter.
