Hi Mickey,

The only for-sale books dealing with the Strong-Campbell Inventory are
manuals for the testers, to help explain the results. I guess the test to
determine what category you fall into is available only to licensed
professionals or some such. There are a number of other books on career
assessment already available in the Bookshare collection, so if you're really
curious, you could probably look at some of them. Or if you want to know a bit
more about the Strong-Campbell, I could write you offlist.

  Carrie

That sounds like a fun book. My greatest downfall is curiosity with a
need to accomplish. A day in which I don't learn something new is worthless.
I'd love to know where I rank!

Yes, I'm a curious person too. It's my primary category on the
Strong-Campbell Inventory (there are 6 categories: R - Realistic, I -
Investigative, A - Artistic, S - Social, E - Enterprising, C - Conventional)
and I'm an ICS (mostly Investigative, then Conventional, then Social - not very
Realistic, Artistic or Enterprising). Do we have any books about the
Strong-Campbell Inventory on Bookshare? It's a handy way to figure out what
occupations a person might be interested in. Just checked, and it seems we
have nothing about it. I'll see if I can't find a book about it, to put in the
collection. It's a fascinating subject (at least to me :-))

Thanks, Carrie. It's fun to ratch a book go from my computer to the
awaiting validation list, to the being validated list, to the admin approval
list. And since it wasn't o any of them, I got curious. I'm always a curious
person, which is why I read a lot. <grin>

  Thanks again.

  Hi Mickey,

Your book is scheduled to be published this week.

  Hi.

I've loved watching the progress of books as they come down the pipeline.
One of my scans has gone walkabout. It isn't in the four lists of books in
progress, nor is it in the collection. It's Prospect of Death, by Margaret
Duffy. Just curious as to its fate.

Thanks.
