It's Saturday again so it's time for new Best Sellers. These are the top 5
children's at a glance:
Children's Books
Top 5 at a Glance
1. LEGO STAR WARS, by Simon Beecroft
2. WADDLE!, written and illustrated by Rufus Butler Seder
3. SKIPPYJON JONES, LOST IN SPICE, written and illustrated by Judy Schachner
4. GALLOP!, written and illustrated by Rufus Butler Seder
5. THE LION AND THE MOUSE, by Jerry Pinkney
I have already put a hold on Lego Star Wars. I have Waddle and Gallop here
at home. I did Skippyjon Jones Lost in Spice earlier this week. I'm pretty
sure The Lion and the Mouse was already in the collection.

The rest of the children's bestsellers this week are:
6 LISTEN TO THE WIND: THE STORY OF DR. GREG AND "THREE CUPS OF TEA", by Greg
Mortenson and Susan L. Roth. (Dial, $16.99.) A school grows in Pakistan.
(Ages 4 to 8) 43
7 THE LITTLE PRINCE, written and illustrated by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
(HMH, $35.) A pop-up edition. (Ages 9 to 12) 4
8 NUBS, by Brian Dennis, Mary Nethery and Kirby Larson. (Little, Brown Books
for Young Readers, $17.99.) A wild dog in Iraq makes a friend for life.
(Ages 4 to 8) 10
9 OTIS, written and illustrated by Loren Long. (Philomel, $17.99.) A frisky
tractor befriends a calf. (Ages 4 to 8) 9
10 14 COWS FOR AMERICA, by Carmen Agra Deedy with Wilson Kimeli Naiyomah.
Illustrated by Thomas Gonzalez. (Peachtree, $17.95.) Masai villagers in
Kenya seek to comfort Americans after 9/11. (Ages 6 to 10)
I don't think Listen to the Wind is in the collection based on the author
search and I can get this book.

It looks like The Little Prince is in the collection but probably not the
pop up edition, but I doubt the text is different.

I think from last week I decided Nubs was in the collection, and I did Otis
last week.

I actually got no results when I put "Cows for America" into the search box
so I searched for Deedy which was a hopeless search, too many results.
Under browse authors I couldn't find a Deedy so I'm going to assume that's
not in the collection so I'll try to get that from the library.
