Hi,

The Bookshare team has been hard at work recently, upgrading the site, and
making some changes to support the wonderful grant we received from the
Department of Education.

Here are the significant updates:

When searching for a book whose title contains parenthesis, the book is now
found.

Users are now required to be logged in to submit a book review.

When a book is submitted, the system now requires the submitter to provide a
quality rating, and they must choose at least one category.

A long synopsis is now mandatory at time of submission when an ISBN number is
not provided.

Users need to be registered as a volunteer to submit books.

When students are renewing an existing individual subscription, there is now a
form on the renewal page which allows providing birth date, and school
information. This allows the student to receive a free subscription under our
Department of Education grant.
