Hyphens are traditionally being dropped now. We really should stick with the print spellings as much as possible, even though we don't like it. Remember when cooperation had a dot between the co and the op? Makes sense to me.Sometimes the idea of English being a living language drives me insane! Now it's correct, though I grit my teeth, to say "A person has their shoes off" or similar. And what about the dropping of the word was. You never hear "If I was," or "If she was." It's always were nowadays. Or I being used in the objective case. "He threw the ball to Bob and I."Sorry, I've gone on a rant. But the language is definitely changing, and we gotta go with it.
