Two miles north of Dot in Logan County - Sources tell me that there are many
fewer Brown Thrashers in some areas this year. I’m seeing few to none of some
of our usual summer birds so far, but Brown Thrashers are here. Can’t say I’ve
made any attempt to take a head count, but we pass through 2 Brown Thrasher
territories on our usual front field circle walk. I captured one in strong
sunlight using a bird box for a perch yesterday afternoon. Picture with ebird
