Thank you, ChristineI love the jigsaw puzzle analogy. I remember going to a fair in support of some community organsation and they had a number of jigsaw puzzles for sale, but no boxes. Each one was in a big jar and there was no indication of what the completed picture would be like. The people running the stall had set very low prices and they were not surprised that sales had been very low. A jar of jigsaw puzzle pieces would be a good sales tool for a writer.
