Hi Andrew.
I have checked & its on with all my browsers.
As mentioned prior it works fine in my outlook email with headings.
NVDA has no problems with using h or e or
 C keys etc.
I now just use Jaws for Audacity as it works better for me but NVDA with
everything else.
Take care

Adrian

Off topic, but "h" jumps to the next heading on a web page and shift-h to
the previous heading.  That assumes that the page has formal headings and
that, in your case Adrian, JAWS has the virtual cursor turned on (insert-z
to toggle).  I think every Windows-based screen reader supports that
approach.  Try it on the Audacity Manual, which does have formal headings.

I just tried the bracket keys on mine & they worked fine.
I just hit left bracket to start & right bracket to end selection.
I know from experience that things work differently for some users.
For example, my brother like most people can use the "h" key to move throgh
the web browser yet it works fine in outlook..
I have tried everything I could think of on 3 different pc's using Firefox,
chrome & edge.& none of them will work.
Strange.....

Regards
Adrian

Adding to Orlando's advice, I use a jaws script for audacity that has

I've been excited with each new release of that script, only to be
disappointed by the fact that the bracket keys are apparently command
modifiers, which requires me to execute a bypass command each time I want to
select with brackets. Later for that!
