It was known by the mid-90’s that at the eventual limit pricing for an RLV
(about US$ 0.50 per lbm) the putative $5000 price of a ticket to LEO might
be competitive w/ point to point transport costs.

Whether it will be economically competitive w/ a partially reusable
seems—to me—rather an open question. Perhaps for certain military uses....
