After umpty-nine years of using RiscOS, I only a few months ago
discovered that !Printers has its own folder in Boot Choices and that
customized stuff such as feeds is stored there. As I belatedly found,
we don't need to reinstall any of that when we update the app.
The Choices system just works in the background and shouldn't be
considered by the user unless a new version of a program changes the
format of it's choices. If this is the case then the application is
responsible for updating the choices to suit.
In my recommendations for rolling back Printers in the event that the
duplex printer feeds don't work I do mention that a copy of
Choices:printers should be taken first so the status quo can be restored.
