I replaced the power supply in my ARMX6 not long after purchase with
one of these[1]:

I don't think the fan has ever come on, and with an SSD, the machine
is totally silent.
[1] At the time it wasn't v2.0, was cheaper to purchase elsewhere,
although no longer available from that source.
