Ok, atleast that works :)
Btw, I notice you use sudo, maybe because instrument access fails otherwise? Have you looked at http://www.argyllcms.com/doc/Installing_Linux.html regarding LUT and USB device access? If those directions work, you might not need the sudo anymore.

I can use the src version without building it with a :

sudo python dispcalGUI.py

the executable is kind of small compared to the other platforms... ;)).
It seems something went wrong when I built the executable. I'll have a
