I’m working for Konica Minolta, so of course I’m not perfectly objective, but
If your budget is limited, then an X-Rite ColorMunki/i1Studio spectrometer
is about the only choice. If your budget is a little larger, then an X-Rite
i1pro2 is the best choice.
„best choice“ is a quite bold statement.
There are instruments on the market which are much better in terms of
reproducibility, temperature and long term drift stability, inter-instrument
agreement etc.
The i1Pro2 for sure has an acceptable price/performance ratio but it is
definitely _not_ the „best" choice.
Anyone who is interested in alternatives can contact me off list as I do not
want to use this list for advertisements.
