BTW: The same is true for most „cheap“ filter-based display measurement
devices (like your i1Display) but this issue can be overcome with good
results by a built-in correction matrix which is ideally monitor-dependent.
The general experience with the i1 Display Pro is that it is much, much
better than it's
predecessors (i1d1, i1d2, even the DTP92/94),
and quite competitive with some more
expensive rivals. Being a low cost device it is not perfect, but the use of
sensor
sensitivity calibration rather than direct matrix calibration gives it
practical
advantages over even expensive alternatives.
