Hi, Thanks for your help. > spotread -a > > adjust the distance until you get dimensions like mine, esp. a L > value around 80: > > Result is XYZ: 69.468412 58.173981 12.077657, D50 Lab: 80.835422 > 30.845398 61.545526 > Ambient = 182.8 Lux, CCT = 2292K (Delta E 1.635531) > Closest Planckian temperature = 2279K (Delta E 0.870795) > Closest Daylight temperature = 2244K (Delta E 22.234008) I got the instrument and just made a quick test under linux with the binaries on argyll site, 0.70 beta 7 I fear the results are strange, with a packet lamp: Result is XYZ: 37.648641 57.504826 18.224786, D50 Lab: 80.462701 -50.335181 45.408301 Ambient = 180.7 Lux, CCT = 5534K (Delta E 87.696962) Closest Planckian temperature = 3363K (Delta E 77.254893) Closest Daylight temperature = 1000K (Delta E 139.974214) I will do the test under XP and post the results in a few moment. ... Test done under XP, and I got the same results. I also test eye one software, but, the diagnostic pass, but the calibration fails with error in gamma? Fear it is an hardware issue? Mike
