A forum to discuss the role of musicians and social change titled
“Instruments of Freedom – Musicians and Social Engagement” to take
place at the University of Texas at Austin on Texas Independence Day.
Sponsored by the LBJ Library and Museum, College of Communication,
Center for American Music, Global Leadership Organization, and the UT
Mediation and Facilitation Clinic.
The concert will be a gathering of panel participants led by David
Garza. Only forum ticket holders will be allowed to attend.
Free tickets will be distributed at Waterloo Records on North Lamar
beginning Friday, February 25, and on campus through the Texas Student
Union beginning Wednesday, February 23. The concert will be open only
to forum ticket holders.
