HI Tina,
To reload the design information, on the right hand side of the OS software,
there is a button to reload. I think its right under the "F" button that turns
the design. It has arrows pointing to a center point on the button. That
forces a reload.
(assuming i am reading your post correctly that you want to reload BEFORE you
start sewing)
