First let me say, the reason I contacted the Amaya Users Group was that I
wanted to know if anyone else was having similar problems, or was it just me.
Then I would know what direction to go in.

I wasn't just complaining. From day ONE I have had technical problems without
anything else on the Dell computer but the OS and DS. In fact, during our on
site training, our instructor told me that if the glitches hadn't occurred
right in front of her, she wouldn't have believed it. At that time we were
getting multiple images, and scrolling didn't seem to fix ANYTHING. We wasted
a huge amount of time on 'down time' just dealing with the Amaya Software
problems.

In DS: the screen freezes, or only partial images show up, or no images until
the screen is collapsed and re-opened or the scroll bar is exercised up and
down, the 3D doesn't work 1/2 the time, or sometimes when the screen in DS is
collapsed and re-opened the outside framework of DS opens with a hole showing
through to the desktop picture in place of the design.

In OS: sometimes the colors are selected but don't take, the trim on the
machine works 80% of the time, or will work 5 out of 10 times during the same
design on the same material.

All the computer components installed were recommended from Melco BEFORE
purchasing and not afterwards. I wanted to make sure there wouldn't be a
conflict and that our computer was up to the task of providing enough memory
and speed for these sort of problems not to occur.

We added Corel X3 2 months after, and the DLL problem was corrected by Melco
Tech over the phone. Of course there was nothing in our manual that suggested
there COULD be a problem, even though Corel was pushed by both our instructor
and our sales person.

But we are getting tired of the answers to be, "just uninstall and reinstall
the software", especially since the parameters we have set up for embroidery
are now lost and we start from square one.....again!

Hope that clarifies it for all of you. This is a new machine, a new computer,
and too much invested in time and money for this to occur.
