The Council of Nicaea was a Roman Catholic council. Why would any
Christian look upon that as any godly authority when the RCC was involved
in the genocide of millions of Christians over a period of several hundred
years with the infamous Inquisition in every country touched by the Roman
Catholic empire? It's a historical fact and all Catholic councils are
rejected by God's faithful. If you want to study that history, you can
start with the writings of John Foxe ( FOXE'S BOOK OF MARTYRS ) who lived
in that hellish time in the 16th century.

As for the Apocrypha, the KJB translators knew that it wasn't inspired
scripture and kept it separated from the rest of God's word. It was
included in the early editions of the KJB because Martin Luther, as many
others felt, said, "Apocrypha — that is, books which are not regarded as
equal to the holy Scriptures, and yet are profitable and good to read."
Because the Apocrypha was separated from what WAS known to be inspired
scriptures, it diminished not a whit from God's word. In fact today, for
the same reason that Martin Luther gave, you will find all kinds of "bible
aids" bound to the KJB such as maps, concordances, dictionaries, and even
commentary — none of which are inspired, all are copyrighted (putting the
KJB aids in commerce), and none diminish anything from the word of
God: the *King
James Bible*.
God considers His word most highly — it's tangible for tangible people —
and I do also. That's why He has blessed it and preserved it forever.
Psalms 138:2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name
for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for *thou hast magnified thy word
above all thy name.*

Call Washington says the 1611 version is what the legal system uses. So,
there's that. It has been said that the KJV is not only about translating
the texts, but also about setting a standard for the English language, much
like Shakespeare did.

The books that were left out are called The Apocrypha and are included in
the 1611 version. So, is the Bible the word of God or is it the word of God

As for the your response here. King James didn’t have to an authority of
the language. He had folks that were appointed to do such and also fixed
the errors out of the other English version and purposely left out notes
that other bibles left in such as the Geneva study Bible had It. Didn’t
want it to be tainted with mans opinions. Let the reader be strictly
influenced by the words them selves. The only flaws in the kjv 1611 that
you find is actual flaws of man and not with the book

So it seems that a king named james was actually part of the reason that
our forefathers left england in the first place, so to side with him is to
side with the oppressors.
My 10th great grandfather was among those who left to come to this new
world, he landed in 1629 and I do believe that he came here for freedom
since he was indentured at the time of his arrival and had to earn that
freedom by working as a slave for three years to become a freeman.
But my point is that king james was not a real authority on the written
language and there are many flaws in that version if you take the time to
study with an open mind you will see for yourself.
And I wholeheartedly agree with charley dan, we must allow the one true
spirit to guide us in our studies.
the path i follow is the one that leads to freedom, not oppression, that
seems to be the path less followed, the narrow path, and i believe it leads
to the throne of justice where my king resides.

source of the corrupted texts that came from that area, primarily known as
the Vanicanus and Sinaiticus manuscripts.

Jersey Constitution and reminded him he is sworn to support my privilege.
Ended with me making it all the way to top of steps where 7 people blocked
my entrance.
