Hi,

This is kind of true.  Acapela have a copy of NVDA on a memory stick that
run with their voices.  You have to press enter when the autorun dialog
comes up but it will start after that.

Nowadays Windows will not allow applications to autostart from a 
replaceable drive.

Even the commercial screen-readers rely on a service running on the PC 
to start the reader.

Supernova has the Dolphiin autostart service and Jaws has another 
version of the same thing.
