Hi Mike

Ok got it, I didn't think of that, the navigating to the pen
was the bit that was bothering me, yes as long as the pen
auto runs, I can press the letter o to open in explorer,
then press the letter n to go to the nvda folder or again to
the shortcut will land me on the shortcut I created to the
nvda.exe file on the pen, it is in the nvda folder, it seems
very easy that way. Will try it. Thanks.

Regards

Adrien

Adrien,

When you plug in a USB drive you should get the menu appear
which gives
you a few options. One of them is 'open folder to view
files'.
Pressing 'O' at that point highlights that option. Pressing
after that
opens the folder of that drive.
Now pressing 'N' will highlight NVDA.exe, and pressing enter
again
should launch NVDA.

So the sequence is:

1. Plug in the drive.
2. Wait about ten seconds.
3. Press O
4. Press enter.
5. Press N
7. Press enter
8. NVDA launches with rising tones.

Unfortunately sometimes the choice dialog which appears when
the drive
is inserted doesn't gain focus. Then you have a problem.

Mike
