Hi Sandra,

I'm not sure I'd be quite so gloomy about it, but I agree that some things are simply not there any longer. Our web site though has some 150 products specifically for us blind people. We don't do magnification, because everyone else does.

I do the exact same as well.

I don’t know what I will do when it eventually goes completely. I have had mine since the early 90s and its still going strong.

I have been looking around for Digital talking radios. There doesn’t seem to be a lot out there to my liking. I even went on to the British radio for the blind. I was quite shocked as none of them seem to talk to you, well not like the sonus does. Even though they have easy to see this and easy to use.

so I have actually called them up and put my grievances. I am waiting now for someone to get back to me.

I just feel that sometimes the completely blind people get left behind these days and to say that they are a charity for the blind which I know doesn’t mean that everyone is blind. But for the minority that are, there doesn’t seem to be anything for us.

Sandra.

is well again.

Hi List,

My Pure Sonus talking dab radio has suddenly stopped working.  There
is power going to the unit and when I plug in headphones I can hear some hiss.

Are there specific keystrokes to re-set or initialise the unit?
All help welcome.
