Andrew and all, I wonder precisely (how) differently or unequally we are being
treated here?

I'm not trying to muddy the waters, but looking at the site for Railcards in
general, i.e.
Senior Citizens, Young Persons, Family Railcard, it seems that before
prroceding you have to
register with the site by entering your email address and setting up a password.

The Disabled Persons Railcard site seems separate and adopts a different
procedure. It is
also designed differently to meet web accessability needs. I have no way of
knowing what
things are like when applying for the other three railcards, but prsumably you
can apply
on-line, but maybe, or I would imagine, you have to furnish proof in the case
of Senior
Citizens and Young Persons cards that you do actually belong to those
categories on applying
for the first time. Renewal should be more straightforward.

It looks as if you can apply via an on-line form though, whereas we cannot. In
other words,
our site is very much a different site, with seemingly, a different clearing
process.

Incidentally, there is a button to have the disabled persons railcard page read
out to you
by a woman who sounds as if she's situated in a loo or maybe the hallway to the
office. I
haven't worked out how that might help you use the links on the page, but maybe
there are
access keys for that.

Hello Dave, I know the form is possible to be done, the thing that is
getting to me is when I was told it isn't cost affective, when this was
said to me I really saw red, if they can do it for everyone else then why
can they not do it for us. this type of thing that goes on really does get
my back up and I for one am fed up of people thinking they can get away with
what they do.
