Yes, assuming you have a wireless ADSL or DSL router then WEP or WPA encyrption for the connection is a good idea. Also some routers can limit incoming connections to machines that only have known MAC addresses. I use this particularly at home where I can only use WEP because not all adaptors (especially those a few years old) support WPA. Regards.
