Hi Ibrahim

Oh yes, did all that ages ago. It isn't the cards, they work on my
BrailleSense and in the other DAISY devices we have. We reformatted the BS,
sent it back for testing etc, but it just doesn't seem to be comfortable
with a 32GB card in it. But, that apart, no problem, so we just use a
smaller capacity, and as that makes it happy, well so be it.

Kind Regards,

Jackie Cairns

Hi Jackie.

Have you formatted the cards using the SD formatting tool at www.sdcard.org?

Try that then try reformatting the cards in your book sense, you should find
that everything works fine then.

All the best, Ibrahim.

We are running what we think is the latest UK firmware, but there is no way
it will retain the settings on a 32GB SD card, and we have a couple of
makes. Yet all the cards work on our other devices. It isn't a huge
problem, but a rather odd one all the same. I think someone else said they
had a similar type of problem, but I can't remember who it was. A good
device nevertheless, they all are in different ways.

Kind Regards,

Jackie Cairns

That's interesting. I have a 32-gb card in my Booksense and it is keeping
the file settings on all the file types. I am running the what I thhink is
still the latest US version of the firmware.

Hi Pele

That's very interesting, I've never tried it. But we did have a problem
with our BookSense XT playing 32GB SD cards. It used to lose the settings,
so Martin dropped down to a 16GB and that seemed to stop the problem. Yet
they all purport to work with 32GB of memory.

Kind Regards,

Jackie Cairns

Hi Jackie and Everyone

Following on from your descriptions of the various players, I don't think
the Plextalk will play 32GB SD cards if they have lots of folders and files.
Mine won't, anyway.
