Hi

Just reading this thread, you can put the us voices on the
stream and they work fine, heather and graham I think,
Heather is better.

Adrien

Hi Jackie

Oh I didn't know that so haven't come across them yet. I
have other voices,
Acapela and Ivona for example, I've accumulated for other
things such as
TextAloud. Some of which are brilliant. Can these be brought
in to the VRS?

Hi Roger

Just to say that Ebooks and text files etc are not read by
the menu chappy,
unfortunately, but by the TTS you choose on your VRS between
Graham and
Rachel I think.

Kind regards,

Hi Mandy

It'se had my RES just over a week now and highly recommend
it. I't far
better than I thought it possibly would be. The tone, pitch
and speed
control gives great fexibility to compensate my hearing
needs. Audio books,
voice recording and music is all handlfed very well. The
only thing I
haven't yet done is ebooks simply because I don't yet have
any. But if they
are voiced by the same voice that gives the information and
instructions on
the machine I see no problems at all there

So Mandy my advice to you is to take the padlock off of your
purse and
indulge. You'll not regret it.

Roger

Mandy,

I don't know if Humanware offer any kind of "try before you
buy" or demo
service, but if you give a general idea where you're
located, maybe there's
someone on list who is willing to let you see theirs.
